Medeco Inala is a Bulk Billing Practice. We believe that as a General Practice we must make a massive contribution to the everyday lives of our community. We aim to not only expertly diagnose and treat physical ailment, but also support our community's collective wellbeing.

After Hours Care

You can contact National Home Doctors Service on 13 7425 (13 SICK) from 4pm. 

Services are bulk billed, and doctors available from 6pm Weekdays, midday on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays and Public Holidays. 

In an Emergency

If you require urgent medical attention, please dial 000 for assistance and ask for an ambulance. 

Appointment and Waiting Times

During surgery hours, appointments are available by calling (07) 3714 9093. Alternatively, you can book online through our 'book now' feature.

 

This ensures waiting time is kept to a minimum. All patients are provided with a standard appointment time but can obtain a longer appointment on request. 

NO walk-in's are available, by appointment only. 

Triage

On arrival please notify the receptionist on duty immediately should you be experiencing any of the following symptoms:

- Chest Pain

- Difficulty in Breathing

- Bleeding

- Convulsions

- Vomiting

- Severe Pain

Our Services

This surgery is well equipped to perform ECG's, immunisations, minor procedures and a variety of other services. Please visit here for further information on our services; alternatively speak with our practice staff or doctors for further information. 

Fee Structure

This practice offers bulk-billing to all holders of valid Medicare and Veteran Affair's cards. 

Some visits attract a fee such as, but are not limited to Non-Medicare card holders, Commercial Drivers License and Pre-Employment Medicals. 

Recalls

Recalls are triaged to the doctor and nurse who will then ring patients to arrange for a follow-up appointment. Our reception staff does not have access to your personal health information and cannot give results out over the phone.
Please note, you can always book a follow up appointment with reception prior to a recall. 

Phone calls

All calls will be triaged to the nurse and Doctors will be notified accordingly. 

Repeat Prescriptions

An appointment is required for all prescriptions. Request for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the phone. Ensure you are prepared and make your appointment for scripts in advance. There are times our Doctors are NOT available same day. 

Closing the Gap

We offer Health assessments for patients who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

We welcome patient feedback. If you have a concern about the service you received, we request that you submit your concern via email to reception@medecoinala.com.au
Please attention the email to the Business Manager. All concerns will be addressed by our Management Team within 30 days.

Chempro Chemist

Chempro Chemist (Inala Plaza) is located next to the surgery. Your prescription may be filled there, or the friendly staff can assist you with your other pharmaceutical needs.
